So. Do you keep to it? I know I do. I am the kind of girl, the kind of friend, who endeavors to put my friends before myself, before any boy. (Typical Cancerian, look it up.) Friends are always going to be there for you, we all know the sayings. The relationship between two women is sacred, there are elements of trust, loyalty, honesty and of course, the L word. Love. A true friend is someone you love, someone you care about, someone you would do anything for, a true friendship is a complete relationship.

The problems women are facing in the world are pretty large scale. In Iraq they'll stone you to death for next to nothing, in some Eastern European countries we're at risk of being kidnapped and sold into human trafficking (source: Taken), in England our main problem seems to be we can't get equal pay or respect from men.

In a world where woman is constantly second to man, why aren't we all sticking together? Why do we turn on ourselves? Kind of like a civil war within womankind. The Girl Code does not specify stoning or kidnapping or prostitution or human trafficking, it is more like an unwritten collection of ideals. The ideal friend would not do something to hurt you. The ideal friend would do for you what you would do for her. The ideal friend would believe that your friendship is more important than a boy.

Shame really.

Only the brave would try these YSL Hero Military stilettos. You know the phrase "suffer for fashion"? I'm not too sure how far beyond a standard pair of platforms or teeny tiny bodycon dress which doesn't allow you to sit down/breathe I'd take it. I'm a little scared. Respect to the woman who wore them.

V-Day Dresses

Valentine's Day is in 48 hours and my search for an outfit is still on. Do I opt for the classic LBD which is sitting pretty and faithfully in my wardrobe? Do I go and buy a fabulous new season piece? I'm being treated to a romantic meal at the restaurant at the top of the Baltic Art Gallery, so the usual jeans/heels date combo won't cut it. Suggestions welcome!

For Goodness' Sake

Not for the first time, I am procrastinating. I am avoiding my massive workload in favour of sending blog posts. It would be fine if my blog were my career. However, it isn't. I use it as a wonderful excuse to google pretty pictures and trawl through other peoples blogs and images. I use it as an excuse to escape from the world.

Right. I will now do some work. I will I will I will.

If Only

If only I had a Prada bag.
Would it make my life better? Maybe. Well, debatable.
Would it make me ridiculously happy? Absolutely.
I really don't see a negative outcome here. Except on my bank balance.

If I Could..

If only I could move on over to a beautiful European country, I'm thinking Greece, the south of France, maybe Spain, I would. I would start my own restaurant. All I would serve would be champagne, pate on crackers, cheeses, olives, ciabatta bread and balsamic vinegar.

Life would be nice, I would be calm, I would be happy! If only I could go tomorrow. Such is life.

Cancerians

This is one of the most emotional of all signs but at the same time one of the
